After four excruciating years of Donald Trump as president, we’ve often found ourselves asking, “What if Obama did this?” “This” referring to any of the countless transgressions, tasteless tweets, bullying behavior, and other nonsense we’ve had to endure since Trump’s golden escalator descent. There’s always a level of hypocrisy in politics, but when you apply Trump’s low standards of behavior to Obama, it becomes glaringly clear just how unbelievably hypocritical the MAGA movement and what remains of the GOP establishment have become.
